Time After Time Poem by Brian Roe

Time After Time

Love…
There is 24x7
8 days a week and
365 was just a moment ago.
I have loved you for years, though
only seeing the one we have shared.
Time my fickle friend has shown his face again…
I wonder how, I missed you before I knew you?
One in 7 billion, yet here you are
I have dug and dug, but found you! !
Time and time again finding you my friend
my diamond, my gem…
There is no worth, no value to ascribe
but beyond my expectations and dreams, defined.
I find something unexpected and welcoming in you.
An embrace, a smile, an endless kiss.
A life I could have missed, had I not found you
Just, a short time ago.
