Washing Away Poem by Brian Roe

Washing Away

Rating: 5.0

It won't wash away, the stain
Liquid love can't cure the ail of all my pain
Liquor the love of a lonely broke soul
But drowning is it Cure
Life a preserver, toss me a line
The sore in a smile, a line I'll find
In u graces and mercy found
But in sin and choices I'll drown
Sink beneath and life unbound
Out of control I spiral down
A hand out stretched, a heart, preserver found
Grab and be free, place your hands on me
I'll pull u home...
Come with me...
