Time And I Poem by Srinidhi S U

Time And I

It had been a long time since
Emotions trickled down as words.
The dried up thoughts overpoured,
Forced ink on to the paper to decorate
Like the plane sky that gets its beauty
From the random flight of birds.

Time, the precious, the Deity
The ruler of the Universe, govern
The thoughts, actions, emotions, dreams and desires.

To think, to act, to write and react
To outpour my words lost,
I won the heart of time, at last!
May this pact stay alive, 'Oh Time! '
As I write for myself and not for a dime.
