Time Changes Things

Rating: 4.8

Last time i check it was 3am
And you were about to leave
Now its 6am
i wonder if you are staying or going
Around 7am i asked if you have packed
But at 9am you replied baby we made a pact
I sat down and watch as you yawn on that bed,
which you partly own
Honey is this really time for lunch?
I ask gently
And you replied softly
Dinner will taste better
And i am hoping super will taste great
Before we know..it will be tomorrow
And we will nolonger be in sorrow
but together forever

The unchanging nature of change is inevitable. A nice piece of poetry written with conviction. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
