Time is a killer,
I do know,
When you watch it,
It goes real slow.
The more you have,
The more you need,
But when it is precious,
Of your Life ~ take heed.
Measurement of Time has been set,
In Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days,
In Weeks, Months, Years, ~ yet,
Our Lifespan by Him is set.
If we watch the clock,
Time will pass slow,
Eager we are to leave,
And onwards to go.
But when we enjoy our tasks,
Time will speed on by,
Hoping to finish the job,
Without emitting our last sigh.
