quiet waited ten years a decade
to time test tranquil still waters
to see if any are yet ready
to embrace compassion peace

love life mercy harmony
to see if any will meditate receive
blessing wisdom contained
in a warm golden seed

gently held in closed
wind protected palm of hand
'Stone Buddha Sits Watching Full Moon'

wisdom is not found in a carved
stone statue Buddha sitting
wisdom is found in peace

compassion heart tranquility
soul quest enlightened ability
