Time With Me Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Time With Me

My own space, so nice and calm,
No need to bend, no need to fawn.
I choose my path, I set the pace,
A happy smile upon my face.

I learn new things, I try and see,
What makes my heart sing just for me.
A book, a walk, a skill to gain,
Washing away all stress and strain.

My dreams take flight, my passions bloom,
Filling my life with sweet perfume.
A sudden trip, a project bold,
Stories waiting to unfold.

It takes true grit, a shining light,
To put myself first, day and night.
A brave soul's choice, a freedom won,
My time with me, is number one.
