Time Won'T Tell Poem by Francie Lynch

Time Won'T Tell

How would things
Be different
If the tectonic plates
Were stable.
Would the world
Be closer?

If the Great Comet hadn't
Smashed our world,
Would the primordial cesspool
Bubble?

Time has told us:
Well, I'm all ears now.
How would my world be
If I hadn't shifted and crashed?
Time won't tell.
