Timeless Rhythm Poem by Heaven Kalu

Timeless Rhythm

I perched across the mist of Valentines day
The night went starless without you and
Your eyes sees beyond my putrid reflection
But the world never sees the cranium of my
Travails lurked within the words of my mouth

Your saliva wets the dryness of my pain
Like a farmer would planting new seeds
The lobes of your breast provide soothing
Throw pillows for my aching heart, buried
In the throes and throngs of social misfits

Your soft palm often give life to my mauling
Skin whenever it travels through it creases
That tells a story of my life' bruises & buffet
Your hip parades a timeless rhythm fit for
The Africa's biggest street party in the world

And when my soul rised in awe of you,
You won the beauty pageant in my heart.
But regardless, I will pitch a tent at your feet
Polish your nails with my tears of victory,
Tears of happiness and tears of love.
