I Know A Damsel Poem by Heaven Kalu

I Know A Damsel

Rating: 5.0

I know a damsel called Tejiri
She's not like those girls at Onitiri
Her style is uniquely pressed like iron
Listen, she has never been to Oron
Each time I see her my heart flips
Omg! The babe no be plantain chips

I remember the first day we met
Though she didn't say if she had a pet
She seems very pleasant in nature
I wish I had asked her for a picture
Since her mellifluous voice stole my attention
No wonder she thinks I attend Christ Ascension

At the end of our lovely conversation
I couldn't help but notice her inclination
I think my English is becoming too much
Even though she never said anything of such
I can't but appreciate the fact that she's real
But truth be told, to like someone is a real deal.
