Times Are Changing Poem by Randy McClave

Times Are Changing

I use to buy eggs in the local grocery store
But, now I can't afford them anymore,
For a dozen I once paid one dollar and 50 cents
White, brown, medium or large that was my expense.
Even the eggs that were free ranging.

I use to buy my marijuana on the street
From a total stranger I did meet,
The marijuana I bought was all home grown
The dealers name to me was never really known.
In secret we set up the arranging.

I now buy my eggs in the alleys
And many times behind mansion's or at rallies,
I now buy my weed in grocery stores pharmacy's
Which helps put me to an ease.
The times they indeed are changing.
