Times Of Trouble Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Times Of Trouble

Rating: 4.0

Times of trouble,
The wicked in their pride pursues;
To ride high with the muse of evil works!
Aside from what i do see around me.
Oh! Life! !
With my heart's desire;
Facing the odds,
Quest! !
With the request of the humble.
Mouth to eat with,
Ear to hear;
To see all that goes on around me today!
Times of trouble,
To be around,
Facing the odds of life;
But i will always long for the truth.
Now i will rise up! !
To stand up tall with the muse of the truth,
Seeing the wicked on every side;
My mouth!
Not to hide the truth.
Vile! !
Vain,
With the muse of mankind on earth;
But my trust is in the name of the truth,
Not to be moved nor shaken! !
With the works of the evil people around me.
