Tinnitus Poem by Phyllis Strong

Tinnitus

I have this ringing in my ears;
a humming, a buzzing sound.
I’ll describe it so you can relate;
It’s like a summer night,
with crickets all around.

I’ve been to the ENT,
There’s nothing he can do.
I’m on a mission to get rid of it;
So I’m reaching out to you.

I’ve prayed and prayed,
God hasn’t taken it away;
or used doctors to cure it.

If anyone knows how
To make it go away;
Then please let me hear it.

I have it also, and have found no cure. Hope you do! If so please let me know, thanks.
