Tired Of Getting Back Up Poem by Chris Gray

Tired Of Getting Back Up

Rating: 3.5

Dear Mommy,
I'm sorry I didn't clean my room,
I'm sorry I spilled my drink.
I'm sorry I drew on the wall,
I'm sorry I broke a dish in the sink.
I'm sorry tore my shirt,
I'm sorry I lost my shoe.
I know none of these things should hurt,
But somehow they always do.
Please Mommy don't knock me down again,
Because I'm tired of getting back up.
