To feel his rugged hands console my brow
and smell the scent of musk upon his skin;
to close my eyes and know he's here somehow
as rings of warmth descend where dreams begin.

To make those dreams become reality
and feel his body heat against my own;
to know his kiss of love has set me free
to find a peace my soul has never known.

To guard this peace and wrap our lives with hope
that destiny will lend its guiding might;
to have within our hearts the means to cope
should wings of fate impart devotion's light.

To grasp devotion's light and seek the door
which opens to a world of new romance;
to follow love and leave our life before
and journey down this road of second chance.
