That's all it takes to make a change
To alter the world in a major way,
You begin today, this very minute,
Care a little bit, do a mindful act,
Involve yourself in a thing outside,
A small change goes a long way
If you show people how much you care.
A smile, a word, a pat on the shoulder
Can lift the mood of a friend or stranger,
We know nothing of what others go thru
All we can do is give a little thought,
Empathise without judging a lot.
One kind act will change the air,
Those you give to, will be just as fair.
