To Err Poem by Thea Pound

To Err

Entice me. Draw me into umbral spaces,
Dark and decadent; From the
Righteous path. Tempt me to sin.
Lead me into vice, corrupt my virtue,
Teach me to revel in violence,
Show me the beauty of destruction,
Lure me into fear, hate, and darkness.
Seduce me; drag me down and degrade me,
In body and mind. Wake me.
From innocent indifference.
Free me from lacking sensation,
Release me from oblivious oblivion,
Break me from from false truths.
Gift me emotions. Grant me humanity.
