To Feel All Alright/ Even If For A Moment Poem by Shalom Freedman

To Feel All Alright/ Even If For A Moment

At peace on Purim
In the sun on Agnon St.
Most of the mishlachot done-

How wonderful
To feel all alright
Even if for a moment-

To sip one's coffee
As if looking out in its pleasure
reveals a calm Jerusalem world
always to be-

Who knows what will truly be?

But for a moment
Peace Happiness Pleasure
Is what this day means.
