To Figure Out What's Wrong Poem by Dakota Ellerton

To Figure Out What's Wrong

For once lost in the void of bitterness,
I wept for all I'd dreamt of losing.
The wasted years of solitude to pull from you and I,
as if we could wait forever.
So jaded and concerned,
not one of us believed in faith or good morals.
Depnding on blood striken heroine for the beauty in ones eyes,
to shine and penitrate the mind with philosphy.
With every breathe that we shed tainted,
I could forever watch the crystalized blood drip from my fingertips.
Polluted and infested,
my thoughts overwhelmed and intruded upon my sanity.
I'd become too much as someone else,
to lose who I'd never known.
