To Her With Love Poem by Claude Simpson

To Her With Love

Her love is like an inner force
pounding in my heart;
Ecstatic, superfluous and fiery love
willingly impart.

For comfort I reminisce, reflect
and recall the saga;
The admiration, the attraction
and desire.

Beaming with joy, a compelling love
that mirrors the passion;
One that propels me to reach, address
and create a rescue for my love addiction.

I worked with her for years;
many years have passed...
But... what did or did not occur?
It's a question that I dare to ask.

She is on my mind daily (to put it mildly)
It must be love... at least with honesty.
I think so. I remember very well.
Her beauty stands out with lucidity.

Our feelings connote passion
and emotion;
Though at times I wonder
if it's just crazy infatuation...

But oh no! It's more like an avid guide
to the love menu;
It's love...Real love...
Truly babe, I love you.
