It's a shuffle of media frenzie
and media hype;
Whether text, audio, photo or video;
whatever the type.
With technology on the move;
TV came on the scene;
The movie-house flourished
and a downturn is yet to be seen.
You would think that Big-screen
Cinema-Movies would be dead
But oh no! TV didn't kill movies or vice-versa;
both survived and kept ahead.
'Snail mail' postal service, wow!
one would think that's the end
But it survived alongside email
with a tab to receive or send.
Now distance, time and space
are 'technology friendly';
Hi-technologies bridge the gap...
'tis hard to distinguish reality.
Virtual or real, a 'tech-deal'
or an ordeal;
Whether social network or media feed;
information is the brain's meal.
After 38 years of being an electronics technician I have mixed emotions about technology. My basic electronics training was of the technology of that day when vacuum tubes were the rage of the very day. I had to upgrade my knowledge of electronics far too many times ranging from vacuum tubes to the technology of the day. I enjoy using modern technology and yet still I feel at what cost. Before Adam was deceived he enjoyed technology that we could not even perceive. Our modern technology is just a poor representation of what was lost in God's garden that is my eulogy. Terrence Tracy

Great Terrance, I can identify with your claim but we all have to move with the fast pace technology. If we cannot dance we have to learn. Amen?
