To Hug The Simplicity Of All Things
for a hand
i just need a finger
and for the finger
i only need
just another nail.
for the day
i only need to savor
a minute
not the hours or the years
for it is too long
for my own longing
for this moment
i only need myself
a place to sleep
a place to be silent
for i do not need
anyone not even you
my dearest....
