Do not cry my sweetheart,
I am here by your side.
To hold your hand through good or bad,
My Love I cannot hide.

Now that you have given me children,
I will uphold my part.
To be there for them through good or bad,
And love them with all my heart.

All our years to spend together,
I look at you with pride.
I'll hold your hand through good or bad,
Always by your side.

When our bodies weaken,
We'll help each other be strong.

Even when we don't have long.

Devotion to you my sweetheart,
This woman I love so.
I'll hold your hand if you ever die,
But I will Never let you go.

I smile through life with no care,
Because when I get to the other side.
