To Know I Will Never Feel Again
To know I will never feel again
The kind of longing I lived with once
To know I will never have that happiness of youth
I once had so long ago
To know that it is not only the body that dies
But feelings and ways of feeling
To know so much so beautiful in life
Is gone for me forever
To regret so much
that will never be again.
