To Life Be Given Strength To Flourish Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

To Life Be Given Strength To Flourish

To life be given strength to flourish and advance
Even to the flower the stem be given light to suck thereon
And towards the sun it grows and grows
Despite bending protective from hostile nights
To little insects nourishment in leaves
And other food be given; and the worms
Be not bereft of what thy need to live
To birds the seed and liquid do not miss
That they grow fast an take faster to wing
And as of these be asserted no less
Shall of man b said and of his life
Therefore provision e made so general.
