It’s so hard to love you
When you’re so far away
Can’t hold you like I want to
When no longer seen is the sun’s last ray
Your touch I can only imagine;
your voice only a deep murmur of the wind.
I wish your presence I could truly summon,
To peer into those deep brown eyes
Caress your handsomely dark cheeks
And kiss those strong, enticing lips;
to finger your muscular arms
And place my head on your heart,
To feel your warmth,
And listen to the soothing
Rhythm of your heartbeat,
To play with the hands
that has so firmly gripped my heart
and relished the desires of my soul.
