To Meet A Good Or Not So Good Person Poem by Francis Duggan

To Meet A Good Or Not So Good Person

To meet a good or not so good person one need not have to travel far
As some like to tell us we are what we are
Though we do have life choices as the more judgemental do say
Many are doing it tough in the World of today
From life we've been learning since before we've learned how to crawl
Though some it would seem learn little at all
And that wisdom only belong to the aged and the ageing is a whole pack of lies
As everyone does grow older but few do grow wise
The wealthiest woman or man in the town
There's always a few trying for to drag them down
Our judges are many our friends only few
One might say to that tell us something that's new
And the more we know the less we know we know to all does apply
With that some would disagree though I do wonder why?
