O Lord! O Almighty!
I pray to thee,
Show in me some light,
So I can make bright
The world of darkness
And fear of weakness.


O Lord! O Almighty!
I pray to thee,
Illumine my heart,
So I can remove the dirt
Lying for years in mind
And bring change of a kind.


O Lord! O Almighty!
I pray to thee,
Raise in me ideas sublime,
So I can write a glorious line
In prose or verse
And send it to the universe.


O Lord! O Almighty!
I pray to thee,
Give me some power,
So I can reach the tower,
With my loud voice to poor and rich,
And declare proudly your message of peace.


O Lord! O Almighty!
I pray to thee,
Give me an order,
So I can cross the border,
With your messages of call
To love you and man and all.


O Lord! O Almighty!
I pray to thee,
Give me an eraser,
So I can go far and far,
And erase pain and sorrow,
Colour, caste, creed for a better morrow.
