To My Mom - Poem by John Hazon Palen

I had loved you since my birth.
Happy Mother's Day!
You're a reason why I breath.
True in every way.

An annual thing you deserve.
Happy Mother's Day!
All mistakes you try to swerve.
A good life you shared.

Who knew you know me better?
Love you more, mother!
Don't know what else I can say,
But with you I had best days.

Happy Mother's Day, dear mom!
Thank you all the time.
Like how God protects his man,
You give love and light.

I'd let no one to harm you,
Make you feel real bad.
In this day made just for you,
May you be so glad!
