To My Mother. Poem by duke perry abrokwa

To My Mother.

Rating: 5.0

To the woman that lives her life for us.
To her, the joy of her kids is worth the pain of child birth.
She will rather die a thousand death before she lose any.
So she proved it! then again and again and one more time.

To the woman who carried my brother, two sisters and I.
Carried us in her arms before we were able to see.
Believed in us, show us all that we can be.
Even before we could speak.
She was our voice.
Before we could walk.
She slept not, for she was our legs.

To my mother Victoria my first wife.
To the woman who chose to give us life.
Abortion for her was no option.
To the woman, who sacrifice her joy for her kids without question.
Chose nine month of struggle and no C section.

She exclaimed in pain
As she labor through pain
She breath through her lungs
Allowing the blood to flow through her veins
So her lad can survive.

As she pushed through her pain
Screaming ' I will take all the pain.
For my labor will not in vain '.
And 'they're worth this pains'

To the queen that left her palace.
Chose struggle and discomfort to give us a place.
Just to be both mother and father to both of her sons.
In darkest of night, she became their sun.
A beacon of hope, a beacon of true motherhood.
Had two more daughters
And Sheppard them in love.

So ask me who is my hero.
Ask me, who do I own my life to.
Ask me who inspires me.
Ask me who do I live to prove myself to.
Ask me whom I am proud of.
And I will tell you all about my mom.

If I can choose a mother.
I without doubt will choose you.
I love you mother.
For you first love me.
Happy Mother's day.
