To Neela
Neela is the name of a lovely girl
Who is our darling niece,
For her dear parents
She is a divinely bestowed bliss.
Being the only daughter of family,
She is well loved of everybody,
By nature a candid girl
But occasionally becomes moody.
Devoted in her study
And a regular school going girl
Every morning goes to school
Flapping her beautiful curl.
In the evening she goes for tuition
Carrying bag in her back
She possesses every virtue
Any thing she doesn’t lack.
Her father is a teacher
In a near-by school
Mother is a typical house-wife
Who well plays her rule.
With love and utmost care
She is growing day by day
They leave no stone unturned
To make her happy and gay.
Her brother Apu and Tipu
Live in far away hostel
Her love for them
Is transparent like crystal.
