To Nelson Mandela Poem by Navtej Bharati

To Nelson Mandela

Rating: 5.0

As the world begins to mourn
your departure
flags lowered
obituaries floating
I stand at the door
watching you go. Sure
you'l make a pause somewhere,
look back and wave to me.

As the world begins to mourn your departure, flags lowered. An insightful, well articulated line of your poem that captured the essence of his greatness. A lovely piece of poetry, well penned. Thanks for sharing.
