To Our Death - Poem by something changing

We’re all falling faster
Nothing can stop us
Until we all realize
That it’s not a dream
We scream
And call out for help
But no one will come
Nothing will save us
There’s no one to trust
We must
Play the hand that we’re dealt
Let go of all the pain that we’ve felt
And try to move on
Can we move on?
No
We’re just falling
Falling faster with every breath that we take
With every smile we fake
And we go on not knowing
Thinking ignorance is bliss
Until we hit the ground
No one will care
That it’s there
So we fall
And fall faster
To our death, amen
