To Ponder - Poem by Lynn W. Petty

I wonder what my life would be,
Without you and our memories.
I have not the ability
To ponder such absurdities.

Lynn, you don't identify who you is. wife, ice cream, a cat, ME!

i think i was assuming you were referring to your wife, maybe because i had read life and wife rhymes with it? ? ? ?

anyway, you also don't make it clear if you are referring to the past years or the present, though it seems you are referring to the past. and, anyway, a millisecond from NOW the present will cease being the present and become the past.

furthermore, and you needn't respond, i think YOU HAVE THE ABILITY; you are just lazy or don't care to do so or are afraid to do so.

    hee-hee.

i'm liking this. and i just had reason to look ponder up in the dictionary recently. despite what some may think, it is NOT a person who ponds.

    ok, let ME ponder

What would life be like if i had one wife?
I mean just one wife for my whole life.
Seems it might get pretty darn boring,
listening to the same damn snoring....
    year after year after year!
