Beauty is beyond what you see,
It lies underneath the surface,
A surface can change,
But the beauty inside can if allowed remain forever more,
The eye can craft an illusion,
But the beats of a heart can never misjudge,
What you see is not always true,
What you see is not everything,
Deep underneath the layers,
Lies a secret unveiled,
Earthly blue liquid liquor,
Shows a reflection,
A reflection of distort,
That solidifies the illusion,
The feeble mirror,
A man made result,
Purposed to make one look no further then what they can see,
Will make you believe,
You are what you see,
No more,
No less,
Valued for the surface,
Not for the beauty that lies beneath,
Lost in a world where seeing is to believe.
Wonderful write.... What lies beneath.. is so much more.. then what the eye can see........
