To The Stranger Poem by Shabari Choudhury

To The Stranger

Let us not be friends.
Friends forget each other when they find lovers.
Let us not be lovers.
For lovers don't always stay together.
Let us not be together
For what is together now, will fall apart someday.
Let us remain strangers.
For as strangers, we can come closer again.
