To The Timepieces End - Poem by The Understander
Our Life clocks are constantly ticking and tocking
and not one of us can stop this conclusion from clocking
us in the back of the head.
Our heart beats are the rhythm to our departing day
Now time's almost up and all we've got to show
are the relationships we've made and the love we have sewn.
The ticking and tocking is slowing, all of us well knowing
that at some point we are going, going to the end of our time.
