Writing my story,
Anger has spoken
Relish these words
No matter how broken
The world is at its worst
The time may be now
But can I act on it
When I don’t how
Because my hate- filled heart
Won’t allow me to witness
The seldom times
When it isn’t like this
When I don’t have to fight
When I don’t cry myself to sleep
When I don’t have to feel the pain
When I don’t have to keep
Hiding my scars,
All the secrets of the cold
The moment when I no longer
Am required to hold
In all the feelings
That I can’t seem to take
Which will be the one
That finally makes me break?
Will it be the one
That no one can comprehend
The one I can’t tell
Will that be my end?
I won’t go to sleep
Because of the nightmares I have at night.

You must live like light.”
How can I live like radiance
In such a dark place
How can you tell me lies
Right in my face?
How can I be like
Those rays of the sun
When I need many hopes
And I don’t even have one?
This is how I feel
As if I’m worth nothing
This is my heart

This is my life you deem

What if I told you
That you were of no consequence?

Slowly inside?
Would you feel
Like you were left outside?
Left in the rain
Feeling so trivial
How would you like it
If someone made you miserable?
How you make me feel
Every hell sent day
Wouldn’t you have
A few choice words to say?
Wouldn’t you want
Some to listen
Would you realize
That something was missing?
Why don’t you give a damn
About my dreams?
No matter how minor,
How little they seem.
What if I told you
That your dreams were daft?
Wouldn’t you be enraged?
Wouldn’t you show your wrath?
Murder me, why don’t you?
Poison my ambitions
Deny me the chance
Of any recognition!
This is my execution
You wanted me to die
But please remember
Who you killed
