The sun sinks slowly in the west
This day is nearly over
It's time for this part of the planet
Is almost done
Yet for you, another dawn will bring
A day to do with, what you will
But for now, pause and think
Reflect on this day's passing
You may be glad to see the back of it
Or be grateful for what it has bought
Still just remember this, my friend
Life really is very short
And you will never see this day again
