God says today is the day of salvation
For us all and even every nation,
It's time for us all to be saved
For us to walk on the road that Jesus had paved.
Jesus is the truth and the way and the light
Never for us to be lost in the night,
Today is the day for us to find him
And with his salvation sing the lord a hymn.
No person will ever feel the same
When they call out the Lord's name,
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God
Today is the day for us to rid our facade.
Everyone born, except for the Lord has sinned
And the Devil has grinned,
Everyone will eventually face the death penalty
That is every man's destiny.
The wages of sin is of course death
This is the debt issued by God at our last breath,
People will receive for what they have earned
Sadly only then many will understand what they have learned.
Today is all that is ever guaranteed
Death is what we have earned by our every deed,
God says today is the day to end our sorrow
While the devil says, wait until tomorrow.
