TODAY MIGHT BE A RAINY DAY


today might be a rainy day
but there is another way
to brighten your mood
towards others be happy and good
think of giving love
like the heavenly white dove

raindrops are falling
they keep on rolling
glittering like million of stars
smashed over by passing cars
why should one be sad
you are alive so be glad

rain washes dirt
without any hurt
except becoming a flood
like an angry god
he who offers us rainy days
as well as many sunny rays

today might be a rainy day
but there is another way
to brighten your mood
open up your heart
send away loving darts
spreading smiles
over hundreds of miles

even though today might be another rainy day
