Who Are We Poem by Morhardt Carmen Mencita Monoi Angel

Who Are We

Who are we

Who are we to install so many rules
They should be here only for fools
Where is the liberty of each one gone

Why do we all live in a similar way
Can you believe me when I say
¨be you and refuse to be part of the mould

Where will this road lead to
Is there still a part of us free
No commander will capture me

When is this going to come to an end
All this war playing of humanity
Freedom is the winning prize

Whom do we have to ask it for
Eternally nobody will ever know
Nowhere and no direction at all

What will become of our children
Future isn’t rainbow color anymore
Daily struggle to save earthly mother

Whoever has the ability to truly love
Has got a treasure to carry on
Everybody has got this liberty

Who are we to doubt our enormous capacity
To overcome so many installed fool rules
And to catch back our freedom and liberty
