Today's Journey - Poem by Cathy Hodgson

Today's Journey

My soul sings with glory abounding
As the hummingbird flutters to sip nectar
Kitten purrs with delight to share some fish
A fire crackles to light the sky with warmth

I am reminded with each blessing to cherish
Though pain may engulf me tomorrow
Tomorrow must take care of its own
Today I shall take the hand that reaches

Hold tight this treasure like a golden crown
For heart is fully charged with contentment
Though the trail has not always been smooth
I will be ready to go on with a pray for another day
