Today... 'The Glory Of Their Strength' Poem by Roy Allen

Today... 'The Glory Of Their Strength'

'T'will not be by might nor by power' says the Lord
for this battle will not to be waged with a sword
The victory's been accomplished by My Dear Son
and it's by My Holy Spirit that it is won.

As the Glory of their Strength I will be their song
and they shall rejoice in My name all the day long
There in the light of My countenance they will walk
and of the Holy One of Israel men shall talk

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Psalm 89: 17—15
Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance.
In Your name they rejoice all day long,
And in Your righteousness they are exalted.
For You are the glory of their strength,
And in Your favor our horn is exalted.
For our shield belongs to the LORD,
And our king to the Holy One of Israel.

The Bible calls You by many names
each one giving a glimpse of Your glory.
Like a cut diamond radiating in the sun
with every facet depicting an aspect
of Your Divine Nature.
Today I have thought of You as
'The Carpenters Son'
