Today... 'The Last Adam'
As a life giving Spirit
the Second Adam came.
So that we could inherit
He took on all the blame.
For it was written of old
God would come in the flesh
and by the prophets foretold
Jesus our Righteousness.
For unlike Adam the first,
this last Adam would win
and through the grave He burst
victor over death and sin.
