Together As One Poem by Adams King

Together As One

Rating: 2.5

Karma returns with a vengeful teeth
To take her own pound of flesh

Men has bitten men for so long
Now an invisible scavenger bites

I thought the walls were high
Trustworthy against every attack

Where are the missiles you made
The nuclear weapons you designed

Was it only against your fellow men
You made your wisdom sting hard

Throw your bombs, shoot your guns
Or bind the demons hands with cuffs

I heard your world is crumbling
I heard you're just a feet from dust

Why not wave your national flag
And show them your skin colour

Have you tried your religious prayers
Have you speak in tribal tongues

Were you able to conquer your death
With the technology you boast of

Soon, I pray your eyes be opened
To see the essences of love

To live as one in one big world
Makes every challenges small
