Another winter day, but was it?
Not really, for it was the day I met her
Music burst out of everything surrounding
the heartbeats turned to melodies of a chanter
The words of a wonderful story started
arranging itself letter after letter after letter
A ballad of adoration defying time
erupting spring in the middle of winter
I held her hand and felt the frequencies
all the signs were an invitation to dance
And oh, we did... we curled and sway
awe was the state, we twirled in trance
Drank the drool of her wet embrace and
got drunk from the dribble at every chance
The walk was over, I was there, I reached
with a smile I took my last stance
Time kept doing its magic while running
we walked our path step by step
A journey we started taking, hands knotted
authored together the story of our trip
Calm sunny days, and windy stormy seas
all sorts of weather hit our sailing ship
Two naked souls became one on a trail
held one another in a firm loving grip
Life went on with all beauty and bitter
time did its magic and sprinted along
They woke up to an old wrinkled smile
hopes of more days than just a lifelong
Never let it slow its pace or fade
kept growing their love ever strong
They never for this world were meant
only for each other they'll belong
As the book reached its final chapter
music fading slowly, lights dimming forever
Strength to keep the grip disappearing
their old of age and vision is blur
Felt the strange tingles, voices loudening
chaos surrounding, mouth dry and bitter
I woke up from the overwhelming dream
she was there alright.. she was with another
