Tomorrow Poem by Isaac Helms

Tomorrow

Another day has gone by
Since the day you told me good-bye
April 23 would have been 1 year today
Wish I could lock my heart away
Try to cross the ocean of my hate
Only remember 1 year ago to date

The body of that woman
Feelings that make us human
The mind of an innocent child
A life that is too mild
Should I fight this sorrow?
I’m waiting for tomorrow

Will it be sunny and birds sing
That not what tomorrow will bring

interesting, but i dont think it's up to par with your other work, you seem to be having a block or perhaps stuck in a little rut. branch out from your topic & then come back. best care, susanj
