Tomorrow May Never Come Poem by Bakare Oluwagbenga Michael

Tomorrow May Never Come

I've decided to live today as it comes;
I know not what tomorrow may bring;
What today brings, tomorrow may not possess.
-
So, let me take from today what it brings to me;
Who knows if tomorrow will meet my needs;
Let me take today what yesterday deprived of me;
Who knows what tomorrow will ask of me;
Let me live today the life I've always wished for;
Who knows whose life tomorrow will snatch;
Let me love today like I've never loved before;
Who knows what hatred tomorrow brings to our world;
Let me be the best I can ever be today;
Who knows how failing tomorrow's challenges will end;
Let me scream today what my heart wishes are;
Who knows if tomorrow will listen and grant them;
Let me laugh today like I'll never laughed again;
Who knows if tomorrow will ever come.
-
I want to live just for today...
