Too Large To Live Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Too Large To Live

Rating: 2.8

World is too large to live
Truth is too hard to believe
Life is not what we see or observe
It is what we make out of it and deserve

Is it not the beautiful to see flowers?
Can we ever think to pluck fewer?
If some of them are gone then what will be left?
We need to think afresh and make little shift?

We need to smell with fragrance a lot
Love can be won without being it fought
As the faces will never be seen
Yet the kindness there might have been

This is how we need to grow with difference
Draw a line similar to parallel and draw inference
We shall not meet in life again but dream a world
That may provide warmth and not develop cold

How many may be lucky to feel little absence?
Why will it be making little sense?
What is there to miss if some one is not seen?
Why out heart ache for it and is very keen?

Lot many things to be answered and deeply felt
The earthly smell is to be inhaled and simply smelt
It is not for someone to feel and explain
It will only be explained at the time rain

One must be aware of the fact
The nature has made it as unavoidable act
One can’t remain without making it
It is how we express when greet

I see thousands of smiling faces
Not because they are simply in race
To get something out of desperation
But because their existence is in question

World has shrinked and may come to stand still
If we do not come clean express our will
Love and only good will should prevail
Everything is open for us to avail
